Instead of assisting me with my case, she disregarding anything about it, while I sit in the jail, costing me my home and my family. I believed that the Lord would give me justice and I remained in prayer. I was finally release without charges after nearly two years in custody. I filed a grievance wi...th the State Bar of Texas and it was eventually closed without any actions against her. I forgive her for the wrong that she has done, but I pray that until she seeks the repentance for the wrong done to me and others within the Harris County Jail, she will never have a day of success in the legal profession. She is unprofessional, untrustworthy, blatantly ignorant and many times in complete disregard of the law. My mother attempted to communicate with her, because she knew that I had done nothing wrong and this disturbed woman called me names to my mother's face. My mother couldn't believe she had done this and she spoke of how evil and ignorant she was.

Sherra Miller did nothing for my case just kept resetting me for five and a half months. I wasnt able to bond out so I had to sit that out in jail. My case was disissed because my co defendent had a bad ass public defender who worked hard did reaearch, none of which my sorry lawyer (miller) did for m...e.

This was my son Brians lawyer for a sexual assault case. We did not have enough money to meet his bond. So Brian asked Ms Miller to contact me for him and in regards to his case. When he asked her to call me regarding the victims character history (as she was family ex- in laws sister). She told Br...ian there was no need that he was a grown man and needed to plan his own defense. Brian conveyed to me that he felt totally unconfident in her and her ability to prepare a proper defense for him. I phoned her 6 times and it was over 1 1/2 weeks before she ever got in contact with me. When I did speak with her directly, she stated she called because they were going to court in a minute and wanted me to convince my son to take a plea agreement. There is no DNA evidence and only a psychiatrist, and parent testimony. Needless to say the conversation did not go well and she was shouting at me that, " I had insulted her by not agreeing that my son take a plea"..screamed that," my conversation with you is over " and abruptly hung up the phone. I let her know I would be reviewing her on this website and filing a formal complaint with the bar for her trying to coerce my son into taking a plea. As well as reporting her lack of professionalism and integrity.
