They do not give you a public defender when you are over paid on unemployment

Bad idea, sometimes they will increase your plan payment and it will stay that way or you may just pay more out to the unsecured creditors

I have a judgment against me in a 2008 bankruptcy. The company with the judgment has done nothing to try and collect.

Only the creditor would be able to answer that question

Settled a debt but still got served.

File an answer in the court and send the settlement agreement to the attorneys. If they do not respond hire a lawyer with this outfit.

Hard to deal with governmental entities. I would not attempt to try to case and take the "deal".
