I was arrested in front of my house while making a u turn, for having an invalid/suspended license my license was invalid simply for not paying surcharges (nothing serious). I couldn't believe the cop arrested me for that simple reason in front of my kids making them late for school on a test day. Sp...ecially when I was literately a turn away from my house. I was confused since I knew I didn't have any warrants and was unaware of any surcharges. When I met with Attorney Leira Gracia she was very helpful and explained in detailed why I was arrested and the changes in the law in regards to my case. She got my case dismissed by the 2nd setting. I will also be using her to expunge my record, even though it is a small misdemeanor case I would like a clean record and I trust her to do it in a timely manner.

I was charged march 15 ,2014 with trafficking firearms and possession of a firearm I came to her office broken with not a clue of what could happen to me and what would be of my 3 children and being four and a half months pregnant I knew I was innocent but feared no one believed me I explain the sit...uation to her she took the time to listen to me was not rushing me at all like other lawyers that time the interview, she was honest with me told me I had to turn myself in and that she would fight for me because she knew I was innocent it was a relieve to know she understood my case. I turned myself in April 4 th and while encarcerated she always had contact with me she would call to make sure my pregnancy was taken care of and that I knew every detail of my ongoing case I would call her office and Nelda her assistant would always have information for me . Ms Gracia would regularly scheduled conference calls to the prison ,and would let me know of court dates and any changes .i would also like to add that she would come to all of my court dates never missed any and always had encouraging words for me,also always had a plan on my case no matter how difficult it would get She gave her all for my case and I am sure she will do the same for yours,she believed in me fought for me and thanks to her I got a new opportunity to build a new life for my children and I . My dad was accused of attempted theft and charged for evading arrest. My dad is a senior citizen who was mostly frightened and nobody would give him a good explanation as to why he was arrested.
