I hired this attorney years ago for a straightforward divorce with minimal assets to divide. However, she unnecessarily prolonged the process and requested excessive compensation, ultimately costing me nearly $10,000 for services that fell short of my expectations. After terminating her representatio...n, she threatened to take me to court for allegedly outstanding fees, but never followed through. Thankfully, a subsequent attorney was able to complete the divorce for a significantly lower fee of $1,700. I'm relieved to finally share this review, which I should have written much sooner.

After meeting Mrs. Richards in person I found out she was very rude and unprofessional. As a client I didn't enjoy being talked down to or hearing her talk down to others around her. I choose not to allow her to continue to representing me. The last thing I wanted was for people to view me as being l...ike her. Someone belittling others should not deal with the public in anyway. I was able to see first hand what people say about attorneys are sadly true!
