Holland Dwayne Jones

As a Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Legal professional, with an outstanding 20+ year career applying experience, education, training, and leadership skills to provide superior public safety and justice for the community I have sworn to serve and protect. Currently serving as a Commander (Lieutenant) of the Toll Road Operations and Training Coordinator of the Harris County Constable’s Office of Precinct Seven; I have served and previously as the Chief of Police of the North Forest ISD-PD, and as a certified Staff Inspector with the University of Texas Police Department.

My career also incorporates years of experience as an Attorney - State and Federally Licensed to Practice Law – representing Police Departments and Police Officers throughout the United States. I have been recognized for my ability to efficiently direct workflow and assigned projects that optimize manpower and operational effectiveness; I possess a documented ability to both manage and track complex projects, meet deadlines, as well as contain expenditure.

My proficiency in problem resolution as a persuasive communicator includes a record of developing productive relationships with citizens, colleagues, and management at all levels. Expecting to graduate with my Doctor of Philosophy in Administration of Justice - Ph.D. in December 2016, my career achievements are also complemented with a Juris Doctorate, Master of Arts-Criminology, and Bachelor of Science-Administration of Justice Degrees.

I am also a graduate of the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas (LEMIT), the Texas Police Chief Leadership Series, the Public Safety Executive Development Institute, and Management of the Small Law Enforcement Agency. Other certifications include Licensed Attorney in the State of Texas, Master Peace Officer, Field Training Instruction and Crises Intervention.
