Scatter-brained mess

Connor's lack of attention to evidence causes further harm to abused children. She speaks in nonsensical circles displaying a lack of ethics. Prone to a dangerous, confirmation bias, she threatens protective and abused parents. If you speak to other attorneys and judges in family law, you will learn ...just how dangerous this person can be. Protect your children.

Runs up client hours needlessly

I had hired Ms. Connor for a de novo in a family law case. We had already spoken at length about the case prior to her being retained, so that by the time of our first meeting, we were able to quickly come to an agreement on both strategy & tactics. However, the next day, she called me and kept going... around in circles rationalizing that agreement, which began to raise a red flag in my mind as she was now billing me, but I remained calm & patient, figuring that she just wanted to be cautious. But the day after that, she began hitting me with one email after another, revisiting issues that had already been put to bed, and that's when I realized that this was her MO. She ran up my time needlessly, treating my retainer as a carte blanche. Any doubts about Ms. Connor's motives were completely dispelled when I received her first billing statement. On it, she had charged me for her fee agreement, in addition to all those useless chatter mentioned above. Seriously? I'm being asked to pay for a template which spells out how much I'm to pay for her services. Imagine having to pay an extra fee for a hotel to provide you with a standard contract listing their nightly rate, or a financial advisor for their fee agreement. This is both ridiculous and outrageous! Do some internet research on Ms. Connor and you will learn a lot which may cause you to pause for thought. I've learned my lesson. You don't have to repeat my mistake.
