also known as Steve Hollingsworth
Steve Hollingsworth is a proven and effective trial lawyer that will work relentlessly to obtain the results that his clients deserve in the Courtroom. Steve has tried over forty-five jury trials as lead counsel throughout Texas in venues such as Harris, Hidalgo, Galveston, Montgomery, Bexar, Cameron, Dallas, Comal, Val Verde, Maverick, Zavala, and Dimmit Counties as both Plaintiff and Defense counsel. Steve began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney for Harris County, Texas, where he tried cases at the misdemeanor and felony level.
For six years, Steve worked and tried cases for major insurance companies and insurance defense firms, which has given him insight into how insurance companies will work to avoid paying what injured clients deserve. Steve has the experience to know what the insurance company will look for and argue in order to support their case and he knows how to defeat these tactics. Steve has represented clients such as Coca-Cola, AIG, Liberty Mutual, Allied Insurance Company and Allstate in cases ranging from minor to catastrophic injuries, including fatalities.
Steve is from Spicewood, Texas, a small rural community in Central Texas. From there, Steve attended Texas A&M University where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets and elected to serve on the Student Senate. Following Texas A&M, Steve attended St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas where he was elected to serve on the Student Bar Association and to be the representative to the State Bar of Texas for St. Mary’s Law Students. Steve was also chosen to be the National Liaison for Law Students to the American Bar Association Criminal Justice Section.
Steve is active in the Houston community as a member of the local and state bar associations and the local, state, and national trial lawyer associations. Steve is also involved in the Houston chapter of Costal Conservation Association, Houston World Affairs Counsel, Houston A&M Club, Aggie Bar Association, and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Steve also actively supports the Houston Food Bank, Star of Hope and the Houston Area Women’s Center.
When Steve is not working on behalf of his clients, he enjoys traveling, saltwater fishing, sailing, hunting, golf, book collecting, Broadway shows and supporting his Texas A&M Aggies.

Professional and Thorough
I used Steve Hollingsworth for a personal injury case following a car accident. He was very easy to work with and managed my expectations regarding costs, time commitment/duration, filing suit etc. Steve kept me informed during the process and always made sure I understand what everything meant. ...
"Steven and I attended law school together and I have known him since 2000. He was stellar in representing a close friend with a personal injury matter. I have been very impressed with his communication, dedication and thoroughness in representation."
"Steve is the real deal! He is an extremely invaluable resource on all things Litigation for me as a younger attorney. He is not only great a securing the bigger verdicts, but actually cares about the clients and still sticks by his tried and true method of meeting, in person, with his clients to go over facts . overall, a solid attorney, with a wealth of knowledge!"
"I cannot recommend Steve highly enough. As an attorney, you do not often find yourself in the position of being a client. But because of someone's negligence, my husband and I found ourselves in need of a personal injury attorney after my husband suffered catastrophic injuries. We were immediately referred to Steve, and we were so lucky we were. Steve is compassionate but also tenacious. We always felt that he had our best interest at heart and was fighting for us. We truly felt that he cared about our case. There was never a time that he was unavailable to talk to us, and always kept us well informed. He has the utmost integrity and also has a vast knowledge of the law. On top of that, his experience is top notch as he has worked on both the defense and plaintiff side. We knew Steve was always tirelessly fighting for us, and a year and a half after my husband was severely injured by a negligent driver, Steve got us a fantastic settlement. I recommend Steve without hesitation."
"Steve and I were colleagues, where we worked on complex personal injury and wrongful death cases. What I observed in the years we worked together, is that Steve is not only extremely skillful in his profession, but he is a tireless student of the law, constantly working to perfect the art of practicing law. He genuinely cares about his clients and their cases and it shows. He has excellent work ethic. He is not only a terrific lawyer but also a great person. As a fellow member of the State Bar of Texas, I would recommend Steve to anyone needing a zealous advocate in a personal injury case."
"I endorse this lawyer. After working with Steve for several years, I found him to be a strikingly successful attorney in the courtroom. Also, Steve is notably conscientious and eagerly devoted to his clients and cases."
