I am a business and transactions attorney with over seven years of experience in energy and infrastructure project financing transactions, M&A and general corporate/commercial advisory work. I immigrated to the United States in mid-2015 and became licensed as an attorney in Texas in 2016. My previous role was with a major overseas firm, Chambers ranked in the Asia Pacific region. I acted for major multilateral lenders, export credit agencies, commercial banks and corporate borrowers on the financing of several high profile infrastructure and independent power projects in Pakistan. I also advised foreign and domestic clients in connection with mergers, acquisitions and dispositions of businesses and strategic assets within the energy, infrastructure, oil & gas, telecom and banking sectors. I am experienced in drafting, reviewing and negotiating all types of project agreements used in energy transactions, acquisition and equity agreements, joint venture agreements and the usual array of secured financing loan agreements and security documents used by major global financial institutions. After becoming licensed in Texas I started a solo practice focusing on all types of business and real estate matters.
