Mr. Paltzik led Joshpe Mooney Paltzik’s representation of a prospective sp ... orts-bar owner whose liquor license application was denied because the Mayor of New Brunswick objected to the proposed sports-bar name “Buck Foston’s,” in violation of the First Amendment right of free expression. Mr. Paltzik singlehandedly conducted all thirteen examinations before trial, led jury selection for plaintiffs, delivered plaintiffs’ opening statement and summation, and conducted all direct and cross-examinations of sixteen trial witnesses. Following seven days of trial, the jury returned a $1,535,000 jury verdict in favor of Mr. Paltzik’s clients, and the matter was then settled that same day for $1,400,000 under the supervision of the Chief Judge.
