SCAM!

Alexander.Gurevich, of course you would publicly deny & LIE regarding your business practices. You 'googled" names? Seriously? Your "legal research" is based on Google? Typical BAD LAWYER ALERT. You did exactly what you were accused of by several of your clients. No one is dumb enough to write... a review with their real name so you can do exactly what you attempted. Look them up, threaten to sue, deny, counter accuse, THEN HAVE THE AUDACITY TO WRITE YOUR OWN REVIEW, claiming "I don't why anyone would give you a bad review?" This review system is a joke. I would NEVER nor should anyone else give their name publicly. Why? So you can deface them for staying the truth. Look me up? Violate Attorney/Client privileges (as you have on many occasions). You know, without a doubt, your sloppy "law practices" are dirty. I have the State Bar Association contact information and complaints are in process. You take advantage of people who know ZERO about their rights as clients of the law. You hope it never comes back to you - every case, every person. You and your associates have the audacity to threaten a person who states TRUTH . I've called your office (thx so much for your phone number). There's no follow-up, there's no accountability from ALEXANDER GUREVICH. In the mean time, people need to be aware of you. Do not "Google" this person. Look at his past records through Texas court cases. You'll see his pattern of bad law practices.

Amazing lawyer

Alexander is amazing. He was very persistent as my case was moved to several prosecutors through covid and ended up getting my case dismissed. Great guy and amazing lawyer. I highly recommend him

Fantastic Criminal Defense Lawyer

I can't imagine anyone leaving a bad review for Mr. Gurevich. I had a very serious criminal case that he handled for me and he got me off with "slap on the wrist". He was very professional and and got me off a potential felony! The case was dismissed! Highly recommend him for any criminal case! ... Thank you to you and your staff Mr. Gurevich!

BEWARE- STAY AWAY!

Alexander is a sham! He does not provide defence. He is also a "bail bondsman" as in if your bond is $1000, he'll charge you $500 and you WILL NOT receive it back after you go to court. **May as well go to a real bondsman, pay 10% ($100)** He makes it out like he's doing you a favor but he's just ...taking as much money as he can from you. First be prepared to pay premium $$$$ up front. He claims he will take care of all of it yet doesn't reveal his plan until you appear in court. At that point, he show's up in court, tells you to admit guilt regardless of the situation. I used him for a bounced check. I was unaware of the check (had moved to another city, closed my bank account, was unaware of the returned check). It was all of $150 CHECK. He charged me $500 as a "bail bondsman", walked thru the booking jail process ANYWAY, then paid the $150. How to handle a bounced check. Just go to the police office that issued the warrant, pay the $150. No jail, no bond, no lawyer. Instead I was out $500 and still spent the night in jail. This guy will take your money! He will not do the right thing!!! Stay away from him! Two other friends of mine used him. They ended with felony convictions. Both situations required an attorney to simply explain to the judge the situation. Instead, Alexander took $20,000 & $30,000 respectfully. Still, ruined both their lives. DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY.

Dear Anonymous. We do not represent our clients the way you describe; we work hard on every case to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients. I would also add that if you ever again get charged with Theft by Check or Issuance of a Bad check, do not simply pay a fine (like you recommend to others to do), since this will result in a conviction for a crime of moral turpitude on your criminal history; it is worth spending the extra money to hire an attorney to work to prevent the conviction. Please feel free to call our office at 713-224-9600 to discuss this matter further. Also, please contact the State Bar of Texas at (713) 758-8200 to report unethical attorney conduct.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
