I had to consult Mr. Cerf when my own attorney was not providing me clear information and options. He explained the situation with my case in civilian terms and provided excellent advice for how to proceed, and pointed me in the right direction of which questions to ask. Going through a divorce, you will feel empty as you watch your life fall apart. It's isolating and embarrassing all at the same time. The people that once encircled your life start to disappear for a while; distanced if they do speak to you. There's hardly not anything more alienating than that posit...ion. I'm sure there are more "crafty" or cunning lawyers speckled throughout the whole marketplace, but it is in these times that you will need someone to be your companion along the way. Too many lawyers treat you like the transaction that you are to them. That's not what you want. For your mental peace and your healing process, you will need someone to not only defend you in your battles but give you the guidance on what's coming up ahead. The most important thing about Larry is that he answers you, and he answers with such clarity. In my experience, he was so much more than fair that it just seemed like things were too good to be true with him. Don't even think that for a moment. He's the real deal, a real help and a real human being. God bless that man for everything he's done. Such heart in what he does, and believe me when I say that you aren't going to find that anywhere else.

Lawrence Cerf actually happened to be my 2nd attorney for my custody case for my daughter. After an entire year of trying to get the mediation agreement finalized by the courts, i was introduced to larry. After having a phone consultation with him and two other attorneys i knew he was exactly who i n...eeded on my side. I know it sounds corny but it is very true, Larry was very honest with me from the beginning all the way to the end. Not only did he take care of me and my thousands of questions out of court, he defended and protected me in court. I unfortunately had to take my daughters father back to court and have the order modified so we ended up back in mediation but this time Larry was in the room with me and what I walked in and offered is exactly what we walked out with in a signed agreement. Larry didn't only fulfill his duties as my attorney but he went so far as to protect me and managed to keep me in a calm and composed state. Which if you are new to family court, it can get ugly and hurtful. Holding your composure, especially for a protective mother is not easy when going against someone such as my ex. On top of all of this, he was awesome when working with fees and a payment structure. I never write reviews, but after 6 years of battling my ex in the court systems and dealing with him, I honestly know that if it wasn't for Larry I would not have been able to celebrate this latest victory in my life. Side note....he is on point when responding to emails, that was huge for me, because my first attorney took up to a week at times.
