David Jerome Romagosa

I hired David on a case when my motorcycle was hit by an 18 wheeler and I was hospitalized. He and his team were very helpful and kept me updated throughout the entire process. I was really impressed with David and he was able to obtain a great settlement!! I have since referred two relatives to... him.

This attorney talked me into hiring him under the guise that I couldn't get the full limits in a settlement for my injury with my uninsured motorist protection insurance. He stated that only an attorney could get the full settlement and since I would have pain the rest of my life, I deserved the full... amount. He wasn't able to work out a settlement and we were headed to trial which would have been ridiculous with the low limits of my insurance. He said I had to go to arbitration and then charged me for it. He took all expenses out of my share of the settlement and I ended up with 44% and he got 56%. He made sure he got his full share and didn't care a bit how much I walked away with. I know for sure if I didn't hire him, the insurance company would have offered me more because they told me as much while we were settling with my husband's claim without an attorney. Mr. Romagosa wouldn't budge on his lopsided fees and expenses. He double charged me on some of my medical records and did rethink that when questioned regarding the huge expenses (over $2400 on a $6100 check to me?) I wouldn't recommend this attorney. He wasn't forthcoming with information about the status of the case and was coldhearted at the conclusion. He made sure he walked away with more than me and this is ridiculous.
