In the beginning he made me very comfortable in hiring him.But as the case went on he became unavailable,I would call the office only to get no answer or I didn’t get a returned call from him at all. When I mentioned it to him he stated I wasn’t his only client and the phones go off all the time for ...him he can’t possibly talk to everybody. If someone is paying you to represent them it’s your job to talk to them regardless of the clientele you have because my case is just as important as anybody else.The communication is out of order,Court was scheduled on two occasions and he wasn’t a show,claiming it wasn’t put on the record for him.The first no show he stated that he had no clue about the next court appearance but I made sure I noted it down the moment the judge said the next court date.The second time his staff changed the court date without notifying me of anything so once again I go to court thinking I have a court appearance and once again nothing.This is just my experience with this attorney,others may feel differently.His paralegal David is also not good at communicating,I had to stay on top of him through email about sending paperwork to me that he claimed was in the website portal that they use for all their clients.Paperwork was not there.I went and got my own certified copy from the court house but I still made him send me a copy through email after it wasn’t in the portal like he said it was.At the last court appearance in November he left out some important information in the paperwork so he told the judge he needed to fix it so she rescheduled the hearing again.I was so irritated with this I just asked him to fix the paperwork and send it to me through email so I could get my child’s mother to sign it AGAIN so we wouldn’t have to wait for another court appearance.He did that part right! This just made me weary of all attorneys in the end.Charged a retainer fee but also got charged a ridiculous amount after that of a flat fee just for him to make the final order.I had already paid him so I didn’t want to hire someone else and be out of the money I had already paid him.I’m glad it is over and hopefully I won’t have anymore issues but if I do I’ll go to another law firm.
