Maybe Alan Baer and his associates at Johnson, Johnson and Baer know something about the law, but based on our experience they seemed to lack the type of desire or drive that we expected for them to have in order to properly represent us as a client. From the very beginning, Alan Baer seemed unnecess...arily arrogant, brash, rude and exhibited little in the way of human warmth. Perhaps he had been practicing law for so long that he was suspicious, jaded and cynical. Aside from being charged an excessive sum for their so-called services, Baer and his associates never believed what we had to say about our case. In the end, these "legal eagles" were nothing more than "deal-makers", when it came to negotiating with one of Harris County's slippery subordinate prosecutors. On hindsight, it was never about the truth, right or wrong, fair play or justice. In the end, we believe it was about collecting a fee with a minimum amount of effort.

Alan was always just a phone call away whenever I had questions about my case. He always responded right away and leveled with me about the potential outcome. I accepted a plea, and he was able to get the probation waived, which was a big deal in my case because I had moved out of state. Highly recom...mended!
