Francisco Caycedo

For more than 15 years, I have represented individuals and companies in a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including personal injury and commercial claims, construction disputes and emplyment matters.

With respect to employment law, I have represnted invididuals and companies of all sizes before administrative agencies, in arbitration, and in state and federal courts throughout Texas and across the United States.  My experience includes both the enforcement and defense of actions involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other employment related claims brought under a variety of laws, including:

• The Texas Labor Code;
• Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII);
• The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA);
• The Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA);
• The Equal Pay Act of 1963 (EPA);
• The Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA);
• Texas workers’ compensation law

I have also prosecuted and defended claims for unpaid compensaiton and overtime wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

My litigation experience also includes serving as staff counsel for Farmers Insurance where my practice focused on personal injury and commercial litigation. During this time, I was actively involved in all aspects of civil litigation, including serving as lead counsel in several bench and jury trials.  

I am fluent in Spanish and can assist clients who prefer to communicate in Spanish.
