Biography
Evette Hooper was raised in East Houston where she attended North Shore High
School. Upon graduating in 2008, she attended Texas A&M University in
College Station, Texas where she received her Bachelors of Science in
Psychology. While at A&M, Ms. Hooper was a member of the Order of Omega
Honors Society.
After graduating from A&M in 2012, Ms. Hooper attended law school at
Texas Tech School of Law in Lubbock, Texas. While attending Texas Tech Law, Ms.
Hooper was a student attorney at the Caprock Public Defenders Office where she
represented indigent defendants charged with various felony and misdemeanor
crimes in 6 different counties surrounding Lubbock. Ms. Hooper was also an
intern at Zuniga Law Offices P.C. in Houston, Texas during the summer and
winter breaks from law school. There, she assisted attorneys in misdemeanor,
felony, federal, and juvenile criminal cases. Ms. Hooper has participated in
trials ranging from misdemeanor possession of marijuana charges to murder
trials. In 2015 after graduating from Texas Tech School of Law, Ms. Hooper returned to herhome town, Houston, Texas to practice law. She joined the Bergquist Law Firm in 2016where she focuses on civil litigation.
