About Philip
Biography
Philip H. Hilder is the National co-chair of the ABA White Collar Crime Committee (CJS); co-chair of the ABA National Institute on Securities Fraud, and practices white collar criminal defense and related litigation. He is the former attorney- in-charge of the U.S. Department of Justice Organized Crime Strike Force (Houston Field Office) and an assistant U.S. attorney in the Southern District of Texas with the Presidential Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force. Mr. Hilder was appointed by the Mayor of Houston to serve on the Independent Police Oversight Board (2011-current). Mr. Hilder previously served as president and criminal chair of the Houston Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. He is recognized by Texas Monthly as a Super Lawyer (10 years) and is AV rated Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell. Mr. Hilder is a frequent legal commentator on criminal cases for television, print, and radio, and a graduate of Boston College Law School.
