Jason Cox was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Texas A & M University in 1994 with a B.A. in journalism. While in law school, Jason received the M.D. Anderson Graduate Scholarship, the Gil Epstein Scholarship, and won the Tindall & Foster Writing Award. Jason also clerked for the Texas Attorney General as part of their honors program and was the online editor of the Houston Journal of International Law.
Jason graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in May of 2002 and was admitted to practice in Texas in November of 2002. In addition to being an associate attorney with Galligan and Manning, Jason is an adjunct professor in the political science department at the University of St. Thomas (Houston).
