Sameer Shakil Karim

Sameer is a member of the Litigation section and the Labor & Employment special industry group in the Houston office of Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, PC.  His practice focuses on all aspects of commercial litigation, with an emphasis in employment law.

Sameer represents clients in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies in disputes involving a variety of employment laws and regulations, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Texas Payday Act, and the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN).  Additionally, Sameer regularly counsels employers and executives on non-compete agreements, protection of confidential information and trade secrets, development of employee handbooks and policies, and general compliance with state and federal employment laws and regulations.

Sameer also has extensive experience representing court appointed receivers in the context of securities fraud actions brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
