I don’t often write reviews, but when someone makes an impression on me, especially during one of the most frightening and uncertain moments of my life, I believe in giving them their flowers. When I received a target letter from the Department of Justice regarding an investigation in Texas, to sa...y I was frantic would be an understatement! I immediately began researching attorneys, making phone calls, and trying to figure out what my next steps should be. Attorney Nathaniel Pataniak returned my call, and what stood out to me was that he was actually out of town on vacation. He could have easily said, “I’m away right now. Call my office when I return.” And I would have completely understood. But he didn’t. He took the time to stay on the phone with me, listen to my concerns, answer questions, and offer some much-needed insight during a time when I was genuinely overwhelmed. That spoke volumes to me. Not just about the attorney he is, but about the MAN he is. When he returned, we met in person, and I immediately felt comfortable. So comfortable that our conversation wasn’t just about legal matters. We talked about life, our families, our children, and just got to know each other as people. And THAT meant something to me! Sometimes, when you’re dealing with something serious, you don’t just need someone who understands the law. You need someone who understands that there’s an actual human being sitting across from them. Someone who is scared, concerned, and trying to make sense of everything happening around them. Attorney Pataniak gave me that. He is kind, personable, patient, and genuinely considerate. And I don’t think we encounter enough of that these days, especially in professions where people are often meeting you during some of the most difficult moments of your life. I wanted to take a moment to publicly acknowledge that kindness because I believe it deserves to be recognized. Regardless of where life takes us or what paths we choose, I will always appreciate how he treated me when I needed some reassurance, understanding, and guidance. Attorney Pataniak, thank you for being not only a professional, but a genuinely good human being. That matters more than you may ever know. And for anyone looking for an attorney who will treat you like a PERSON and not just another case, I definitely encourage you to give him a call.

He is a good man. I consulted with him this week regarding a mistaken identity and worried if I am getting charged for a criminal offense which I know nothing about. I was impressed by his demeanor and help which he could have easily refused. All the good reviews before me (are NOT a marketing stunt!...).
