Her Avvo Rating is 5 stars. After working with Michelle, I see these ratings are well deserved. When talking to her on the phone, I found out that she knew the law very well and was experienced. My case would have been done fairly quickly starting in October and ended in March. Then the Covid loc...kdowns happen and cases in Harris County became backlogged. She kept me informed over the two years it took to finally get the case heard and finished. She is very responsive on calling back, texting and emailing. In the end it did not cost me as much as I thought compared to other lawyers.

Because of an awful representation by a previous lawyer, I was praying and desperately looking for a replacement when I landed at Michelle’s office with no referral except a quick review of her clients’ testimony on avvo.com. The only referral I had was God’s voice inside my head (what I call a divin...e intervention) and my instinct. Despite inheriting a messy case, Michell was incredibly supportive and encouraging to me; she wasted zero time to get to work; she immediately started sorting things out and collecting evidences in the most articulate manner. From the very beginning, Michell was very transparent with me (which I loved about her) and I was involved in every step of the process; her communication with me and prompt response really got my case moving to the right direction in my favor and restore my confidence; she was open to all my questions and concerns and always available to answer every one of them, as a result, I was able to rest my mind from worries and focus on my children knowing that Michelle got my back. I was dealing with an ex husband who could not handle the fact that I decided to divorce him, and who intentionally tried to do everything he could to destroy me. His refusal to cooperate and listen to his own counsel became a waste of time for both sides. Michelle was not having any of that!! she put a lot of effort and worked tirelessly to get to the bottom of all his unsubstantiated claims; her creative investigative strategy exposed the baseless claims my ex husband made, which at the end produced a favorable outcome for me without the case being subjected to mediation or trial. Eventually, Michell’s quick thinking ability paid off and put a STOP to all the non senses of my ex husband's stubbornness; he had no choice but to settle. Michelle is a clever and highly effective as well as a result driven attorney. Her clients are her priorities; therefore, she makes sure that all options with in the law, that are in the best interest of her clients, are explored based on evidences provided, and as a result, clients are well informed of all options that enable them to make decisions and achieve goals. In addition, Michell’s accounting skill is “A” plus that helps every client understands what the numbers would look like when it comes to property division.
