I had a very negative experience with this attorney. He initiated contact with me after obtaining my information from a third-party lead service, but spoke in a way that made it seem as though I had already contacted him and that he knew my situation well. This was confusing and misleading from the s...tart. Before providing any written agreement or paperwork, he focused on collecting a $5,000 retainer. Communication was poor throughout the case. Just before a court hearing, I was told that unless I sent additional payment, he would not attend. After I paid, he appeared but then failed to inform me of the outcome and became unresponsive for days. He later withdrew from my case without proper notice. I never received a final bill, itemized accounting, refund, or my case file despite repeated requests by email and through my new attorney. Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to be cautious.

Mr. Delaney completely neglected my case for months with no communication with the opposing sides attorney. I called and emailed his office on a biweekly basis to check on the status of my case and was repeatedly told there were no changes or updates to the case. (Which there was). In result I was pl...aced in a very stressful situation. I was never given an apology. Just excuses, defensive calls and emails, and even a request for an additional retainer with a comment as quoted “I am not going to argue with you about my fees”. I feel I was taken advantage of and very poorly represented in my case that I hired Mr. Delaney for and would NEVER recommend him. In result of all of this I had to fire Mr. Delaney and hire a more attentive attorney to take over my case. This was a simple case that he turned into a nightmare.

I hired Mr. Delaney to help me out when my son's father refused to pay child support. He filed the appropriate motion, got my ex served, and went to court with me about three weeks later. He totally destroyed my ex in court. That alone was worth what I paid! He was always courteous and punctual in an...swering my questions. I have recommended him to my friends and family members.
