Biography
My practice area focuses on resolving complex family disputes that arise in the probate or guardianship process. The types of cases I handle usually concern intense conflict between family members who are pursuing their parent's best interests or advocating their parent's last known wishes. My broad range of experience representing clients in various areas of law (including criminal, civil and family disputes) gives me a unique ability to understand the complex issues my clients are facing as well as to navigate the personal and emotional conflicts that arise in a family dispute. Also, as an experienced as a trial and appellate attorney I am able to help my clients plan their litigation strategies to maximize the best chance of success during trial or on appeal. At the end of the day, I offer my client's an empathetic approach to the law which focuses on understanding a client's emotional needs and motivations in a lawsuit. I have always understood that a successful day in court as a lawyer does not necessarily translate into a succesful day in court for a client. By focusing on my client's motivations, feelings, and goals, I believe that my clients are able to participate in a difficult process and leave with a sense of satisfaction.
