John R. Walker Review

I have worked as a Catastrophic Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist for the past eleven (11) years. Is this capacity I am exposed to a myriad of complex issues. While my goal is to ultimately steer clear of litigation, unfortunately there are times when it cannot be avoided. Due to the extensive... nature of a catastrophic injury, the issues that arise in conjunction with such injury can be extremely complicated with tremendous exposure. When you do get involved in litigation with these claims, you need an attorney that not only is technically sound and covers all bases, but also knows how to come across as caring and compassionate to a jury. When I first met John approximately ten (10) years ago, he did a lot of coverage work for our company. I must say there is no one better at handling a coverage matter for you. He is diligent, resourceful, and creative beyond belief in coming up with ideas and solutions to keep you out of hot water. I cannot say how many times he has creatively helped our company get out of a tough situation that we felt was hopeless. John does his homework and then some to come up with innovative ideas to help his client. Approximately four (4) years ago I found myself involved in a dispute that wound up in front of a jury. While I had used John exclusively for my coverage and research matters, I had never seen him in action in the courtroom. I did not hesitate to have him defend me and was quite pleased with his performance. The case was a very complicated matter that required intricate skill in presentation to the jury. John was cool, calm, and treated everyone with respect. However, when it was time to get tough with their witnesses, he handled that beautifully as well. In the end, my company was quite pleased with the results. I have discovered throughout my years in the claim business, you can find good research attorneys that cannot litigate and good litigators that cannot help you outside of the courtroom. John has the rare ability to be good at both and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs help with any insurance related matter.
