Divorce case

The worst lawyer ever met…. He not only didn’t do what he was supposed to do, he didn’t even show up. He never replies and take the call in a timely manner after taking the money…..first time i am writing a review because he is so bad….. I lost my divorce case and still waiting for him to finish what... he was supposed to do.

Just what I was looking for in an attorney.

I hired Mr. McDermott for a second time. He is fairly priced, and gets the job done quickly. Down to earth and understanding.

Mr McDermmot's a "regular guy"

Decades ago, John McDermott represented my wife (and me, I guess) in an uncontested divorce with child custody. The wife and I had already worked what we wanted done. Across John's desk we laid out what we wanted and he "made it happen." No fuss. No crazy fees. EZ PeeZee. Now, 21 years later, I'm ...ready to collect Social Security and the Fed office wants a copy of the divorce. I've gone through every box of old papers both I and the ex-wife have and can't find it. So I called John. He told me it was my choice. Although he could copy and email me one for $75, he recommended, if I had the time, to save some money and get a copy from Harris county. That's the sort of thing a normal person (vs. a lawyer) would do.

HELL OF A GREAT JOB

I hired John Mcdermott to get me out of a hell of a bad marriage that was going from bad to disaster. Wife drank, did drugs, and cheated on me and abused our son Pepe. The Ex, and yes she is an Ex now, was a brilliant maniputor and capable of telling the most outrageous lies that twisted every innoce...nt event to appear sinister and equally manipulated her insane behavior to appear innocent. My first lawyer's only progress in this case was to suck the financial life out of me while not progressing the case one wit. A colleage suggested I get rid of the lawyer I had and replace him with one that knew the meaning of the word jugular. Fortunately, I found John McDermott. The man saved my butt and my child's life to boot. You want a tiger for a lawyer, you get John. The man took copius notes, asked a lot of incisive question, and at the end of the three hour session, just smiled. Less than three months after retaining Mr. McDermott, I was DIVORCED, with custody of my child. Thank you, John. Good Job!
