Biography
I am a government lawyer who has worked at the Harris County Attorneys Office since 1997. Most of my experience has been working as a trial attorney representing CPS in child abuse and neglect cases in the Harris County juvenile and family courts. In this area, I have tried approximaely 25 contested jury trials and over 200 contested judge trials. I have also worked in the areas of civil rights, employment, tort defense and subrogation litigation. My overal experience has covered all aspects of civil litigation: discovery, pre-trial matters, trials, and alternate dispute resolution. I worked as licensed attorney for 10 years prior to starting atthe Harris County Attoenys Office. I started my legal career in insurance defense and later plaintiff's personal injury litigation.
