I was a client a Daniel Chung Lee on a family case. He filed my Respondent's Original Answer without my review and approval. Later I found out there are several errors in his filed answer, he did not correct them. In the initial conversation, he told me that their billing will be transparent and ...frequently updated in the mycase website. It turns out not true. After I terminated him, he posted the first and only bill with charging everything, phone calls, emails, etc, total of $6600 from my retainer. I am currently involved in a very complicated custody/divorce case, and the case already more than 3 and half years. I told my family and friends that Mr. Lee is my life saver, I know the thanks no longer enough to express how grateful my children and I to him. My case is belong to family law, but I talked with other his clients during the waiting time in his office, I knew he also present for client in criminal and business cases. And these 5 of his clients that I met in his office all very satisfied with him and all of them had previous attorney. ( I asked 2 of his clients phone numbers and talked with them over the phone due to we don’t have time discuss the cases and Mr. Lee’s experience and knowledge, I believe it is very important for every one to hire an attorney) . I recommend consult several times before sign the contract with an attorney and do you best to ask other clients or obtain their phone numbers in the office or Court (Now it’s not easy due to most of case by Zoom). (That’s my experience, I hope it could help others and to avoid detours. )
