I am a Warrior, an Advocate, a Knight in Shining Armour to my clients. I have the scars of battle to prove it, the humility gained through combat to never take the opposition for granted and to always be prepared. We who defend the Citizen Accused must never forget that we hold our client's lives and fortunes, their very future, in our hands. My Sword of Advocacy was honed from the time I began High School Interscholastic Debate Competitions in 1963 and continued through Law School Moot Court Competitions. For almost ten years I tried cases and trained young prosecutors. Now, I put that experience to work for my my years with the Harris County (Houston) District Attorney's Office in two administrations from 1975 to 1985, I coined the phrase "Trial by Ambush" where the worst cases (from the D.A.'s standpoint) roll downhill to suddenly confront the Number Three Prosecutor who "needs the experience". The Haggard Law Firm has fought against the government for the rights of Free Men and Women since 1991. I have learned through experience the meaning of the words of Plato: "Justice means minding one's own busniness and not meddling with other men's concerns."

Wasn't that great. Was expensive and had my case dropped down to a lower case.
Was not happy honestly. I had a clear case where I knew I was innocent and this jerk cop was wrong. And I wanted a good lawyer to help me win my case we'll. He failed to do that I wasn't happy with the end result still have a crminal record and served some time. All in all was a waste of my money. Se...

They were forced to dismiss!
We are so pleased with the outcome of our case! We wanted dismissal from the start, but the DA was persistent in proceeding to Trial. Finally, on the day of Trial, due to Mr. Haggards unrelenting banter and discussions with the judge and with the DA, they were forced to dismiss. He knew just the ...

"committing crimes while carrying a weapon"
Lawyer was able to have the case dismissed. I was speeding and was pulled over, turns out my insurance ran out. Officer asked if I had any weapons, let him know I had a firearm in the car. Thus I ended up with a near felony of "committing crimes while carrying a weapon". But Mr. Haggard took care of...

Average mediator-
Have to be honest. Through reading, all of the other review's, I was impressed at first. Which I agree, at first when reading them, I was happy to hired Mr. H, to handle my case which was at its base, my case which the state was arguing, was a fruitless accusations, which as we know the state is cor...

I have 4 felonies and multiple misdameanors on my record. This time I was innocent and yet I thought my past would convict me. Carl got my charge dismissed. He's a God send.
"I endorse this lawyer. I am a practicing lawyer in the community for more than 30 years. I have referred Criminal Defense cases to Attorney Haggard. The clients have been happy with the results in every case without exception. I unequivocally recommend Attorney Carl Haggard."
"I highly recommend Carl if you are in trouble with the law. He knows the law and works tirelessly for his clients. If I was in need of a lawyer I would call Carl."
"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Haggard is an experienced lawyer that defends his clients to the utmost. I have seen him defending his clients since I was as a prosecutor sixteen years ago. Mr. Haggard is a true professional, anyone that has him on their side is lucky to have him working for them."
"Carl has been a criminal courthouse regular for many years. Everytime I see him, he is prepared, ready for the fight, and zealously advocates for his clients. He is not a "jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none" lawyer who does civil and criminal and family and immigration law, etc. Instead, he has dedicated his career to focusing on criminal law, and he has a great deal of experience, knowledge, and practical know-how to get the job done."
"I endorse this lawyer.carl is a fighter and warrior. He stands up for clients interest. He stands up against the government without hesitation and he is well respected. He is a great lawyer."
