I hired Mr Leonard to defend me in a controlled substance case. I had purchased some Tramadol while in Mexico for chronic pain. I did not know that it was a controlled substance. When asked at customs if I had purchased any medication I answered "yes". Mr Leonard was very sympathetic and empatheti...c with me, very patient and knowledgeable of the laws concerning my case. Every time I called him he was patient and calm even though I was a wreck. I had never been in a situation where I needed an attorney but he did his job was able to get the resolution I was hoping for. My case took over a year, partly due to COVID and courts running on skeleton staff or courts not in session at all. I cannot thank him enough for his time and expertise on this matter.
