Defense

I strongly feel your attorney should fight for you, be the best defense, even if he is court appointed, he still has a title and name to protect. This lawyer didn't help at all, didn't return calls, was annoyed by the continuous attempts made to reach him. Never discussed court hearings. Just simpl...y didn't care, his only option was take a plea or he would withdraw, and not go to jury trial, to find a young attorney. He withdrew. Probably the best thing he did, but he should have not wasted 10 months, because so many things could have been done other than letting you sit in jail, thinking he was a good attorney and was going to stand by you. Don't waste your time, move on.

Awesome Firm

As a retired police officer and a person who has had a need for a family law attorney, I feel that Paul is hands down the best attorney overall that can be hired. This man seems to genuinely care for people weather you are a client or not. His fees are extremely fair, his attitude is always positive... and he can deliver the legal services that are most needed. Since my services were completed over 5 years ago, Paul remembered me and when I had a couple simple questions, he immediately took my call and answered them without seeking compensation before hand. ( a Rarity in the legal world) I highly recommend Paul for all of your legal needs.

Do not retain this attorney

If you want to have an attorney who will not return phone calls and attend to business in a timely fashion which will place you in more legal problems then prior to "hiring" him then this is your lawyer. I paid him a lot of money to represent me in a family law matter and he essentially took my mone...y and then did absolutely nothing. I mean nothing at all. I saw this man once in a 6 month period and after an initial hearing that took 1 hour nothing was done. This placed me and my children in a very bad position-- especially since the State of Texas was garnishing my pay to pay child support-- when I had the children! This garnishment was 60% of my income at that time! Needless to say the ex-wife still was getting child support (and she could then afford to pay her lawyer fees), I was trying to support the kids that I had custody of while working full-time. His refusal to do anything placed my children in bad position and necessitated me quitting a good job so I could watch the kids at least since I couldn't afford child care. I eventually had to hire another attorney to take care of the botched mess this incompetent and selfish lawyer created. After this I discovered that Paul Parker does not attend to business, does not return phone calls or address client concerns (instead leaving this up to his staff to run defense and avoidance). He has a reputation at the courthouse and among other lawyers for constantly being unavailable or on vacation. He loves the flat-fee contract because this tool is viewed as excusing an attorney from accountability. Do not depend on or think that the State Bar will protect you from incompetent lawyers. Do not retain this man-- you will be sorry if you do.

Good man to have in your corner in time of need

Nobody really plans to need an attorney, but when the need arose, Paul was there and has been there for years. When you have had one positive outcome after another utilizing the same Attorney, why would you look anywhere else. You need someone, trustworthy, ho...nest, and has a proven and tested record, Paul has demonstrated all these traits. Very satisfied.

Wonderful experience, professionalism and cooperation

Although you may read this review and question the validity of my rating of Atty. Parker, I stand behind my ratings and insist that you to give Paul's representation a try... you won't be sorry!! I was arrested for a DWI, lost my job, and ultimately found myself in a financial bind. Paul's office w...orked with me to pay off my fees, which were more than reasonable considering the market, and his staff has been knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant throughout my probation. Ultimately, via following Paul's instructions, I am on my way to a dismissal of the charges, and I can't thank my Attorney and his staff enough!
