Nita Carol Meador

It’s hard to adequately describe our dealings with Nita. She has represented my family trough some of our hardest trials in life. Divorce, mediations, a prolonged high intensity custody battle, and false abuse allegations that ended in CPS involvement. She pursues everything before her with composu...re and steadfast resolve. She is a fierce advocate when needed, and invaluable in the court room. Yet this is balanced by a compassionate side that keeps her grounded, and fighting for what she knows is right. A friend told me “I don’t think you could make Nita do anything she didn’t want to.” They are correct. She will give it to you straight, and then fight tirelessly as your advocate. She’s not interested in representing you just to take your money, like so many other are. She’s interested in making sure justice is served. Her support staff are always right on task, and do a great job of making everything run smoothly. Her office helps relieve the stress you are going through. I couldn’t be happier with Nita Meador, or ever consider using someone else.

Bottom line...Ms. Meador is intelligent, insightful, and savvy topped with a lot of spunk. Let me just say that I'm so grateful that she was sitting at our table in the courtroom. My husband and I live in Maryland. We didn't know where to begin when we started receiving information about the welfare... of my husband's children. As fate would have it, we hit the jackpot when I contacted Nita and explained the situation. That was over 10 years ago. She helped us gather concrete evidence and represented us through the Temporary Modification Orders. A year later, she represented us in a jury trial to finalize the temporary order. In the last four years Nita represented us twice as the biological mother tried to regain custody through trumped up allegations. Her instincts have proven right every time. I really don't know where our family would be, what would have happened to these beautiful children if Nita had not been with us. We are sincerely grateful for all she has done for our family.

Ms. Meador preformed an incredibly difficult case for my family. We were held in the highest regard and treated with the utmost of care. When we did something we shouldn't have done, the staff and attorney was very firm and with us. Ms. Meador was quick to let us know and had no problem telling us... how stupid our actions were. We learned our lesson and the remainder of the case proceeded without incident. If you have any intelligence at all you can follow the advice and professional legal counsel of this office! This lawyer accepted retainer from me for a divorce. She did not represent me or benefit my children in any manner. Up front, at the consultation, she was "go get 'em". As soon as she had my money my case was on the back burner. She fraternized with the opposing counsel, Dana Smith, gossiping abou...t the case and other cases. My husband and I eventually reached a settlement on our own; no thanks to her. She was very vulgar and highly unprofessional.
