I hired her for my divorce during almost a year and she quit right away after she “found” a tax document that was “wrong” she didn’t even gave me options to correct this. She basically said “my license could be in risk for this case so I quit”. I tried to fix it and make things right when I met her b...ut the lack of interest to represent me and look for options made me lost money (make notes she charges premium $250 hr) also be aware she quit 2 months before my hearing. She does not have a confident and trust attitude. And when I found a new lawyer she didn’t even say all the details and progress we had since I started my divorce so I had to go over what I know and what had about my situation to my new lawyer, so even after she was a bad lawyer. SO DONT HIRE HER. DON WASTE YOUR MONEY.

My understanding is Rebecca would be a good lawyer for certain kinds of cases. However, I hired Rebecca to handle my divorce and custody case. It was the first and only legal fight I was ever involved in. Somehow, I found myself managing almost all of the case strategy, being the one to stay on top o...f communication and planning (because she could or would not respond in a timely manner), and on more than one occasion listening to her vent her personal frustrations about opposing counsel. If I had any experience with lawyers before I would have dropped her in the first few weeks. My naivete in sticking with her cost me a year of legal nonsense, including expensive and needless extensions for every filing and motion. Her tactical incompetence and bad advice had me terrified of anything my ex might do, and led to months of jumping through hoops doing things that no judge would have made me do. In the end, I lost *thousands* of dollars following her advice, thousands of dollars in legal fees, and thousands of dollars in retirement funds. Because I did stick with her, I am now having to re-open custody and support fights, just to clean up all the holes.

Rebecca handled my divorce and I was extremely satisfied with her abilities. I then used her again in another matter while she was at Giles and Giles and while we didn't get everything we wanted she still did a superb job and kept us abreast of where we were in every step in the process. Not sure if ...she is still at Giles and Giles.
