I was born and raised outside of Augusta, Georgia. After graduating from UGA with two majors in Financial Planning and Consumer Economics, I decided to attend John Marshall School of Law. At John Marshall, I was a staff member of law review, was the treasurer of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, and even founded the John Marshall Softball Club. While I wasn’t playing sports, I was clerking with the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to joining The Wright Firm, L.L.P., I worked at Clark & Washington, LLC which is the largest bankruptcy filer in the State of Georgia.

I am a member of both the State Bar of Georgia and the State Bar of Texas. He focuses solely on issues relating to Bankruptcy at our firm, and it was a natural fit given my educational and professional experience. At the firm, I am known for being an aggressive advocate for my clients and my extensive bowtie collection.

My wife and I live in Hewitt with our German Shorthaired Pointer, Walker. I am a converted Texas Rangers and Dallas Mavericks fan while holding true to rooting on my Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Hawks.

Excellent Service!

Tyler was extremely professional and courteous. He was quick to respond to any questions I had and made the process seem easy. He is very knowledgeable and made me feel like a priority. I would highly recommend hiss services and am so thankful I chose him to help me through this challenging time!

Excellent advise and quick response

Needed advise on how to proceed on a unique situation regarding a bankruptcy proceeding in another state. Tyler Sims listened to our circumstance and advised us on which option he thought would probably be best for us to pursue. He followed up and sent us three law firms to contact, one of which we hired.
