Teresa Schiller

Teresa Schiller represents clients through Teresa Schiller Law PLLC and as of counsel to Harrell, Stoebner & Villanueva, P.C. She advises business owners, fiduciaries, and families across Texas on complex matters requiring precision and discretion.

Teresa is a graduate of University of Chicago Law School and Rice University. Licensed in Texas, New York, and the District of Columbia, Teresa practiced in New York and brings a multi-jurisdictional perspective to her work. She represents clients in Texas state and federal courts. Her published legal articles have been republished by University of Chicago Law School, Texas Bar Journal, and Texas Bar Blog. Earlier in her career, Teresa worked in the federal judiciary, clerking for a United States court of appeals judge and a United States district court judge.

A respected leader within the profession, Teresa chaired the State Bar of Texas Women and the Law Section and led New York women’s bar associations. She also served as associate executive director of the New York State Bar Association. Following September 11, she coordinated legal volunteers assisting small businesses in New York City.

Before entering the legal profession, Teresa taught English in Japan. A proud native Texan, she was born and raised in the Lone Star State.
