Robyn R. Harlin

Attorney Robyn Harlin has handled my family's legal work for many years. We have five households in the Houston area and she has worked with all of us. She represented my family members in the purchase of a major business. She has done my will and several others for family members, and she handled... the probates for both my parents and for another family member. She represented me in a divorce. Ms. Harlin has always done her work promptly, accurately, professionally, and with the compassion needed in special situations.

At first I thought she was great then the further it got along it got way worse the communication horrible, did not show up for three parole reviews ,blamed it on the parole board. She is now a district attorney and it's too busy to pay attention to the people that she said she would represent to the... parole board. I would highly advise staying away from any parole attorney you can do this on your own most of the information she received was from me. Do not recommend

I am only leaving one star because it will not let me leave none. When my ex took off with my kids and I did not know where to find them, I hired Ms. Harlin on the recommendation of a mutual acquaintance. I paid her a retainer and set out to find my ex and children. Within a couple months I found the...m and gave her the information. She said she had filed my divorce and was attempting to get him served. Because of the animosity from my ex, and lack of any court papers granting rights to custody or visitation, I was unable to visit my children during this time. I kept checking back with her and she said that we could not get into court because he was "hiding from the process server". I kept hearing things from friends telling me that there were other things my lawyer could do, but when I asked Ms. Harlin about them, she kept coming up with excuses. At one point she told me that she had to refile because it had been too long, and would be doing so that week. Again with month after month of telling me we could not get into court because my ex was hiding from the process server. A year an a half went by and I finally called the county court clerk and found out that she had never once filed the divorce in my name. She lied to me for a year and a half, during which time I was unable to see my children, a fact which she knew and completely ignored. I called her and confronted her, and sent a message to the head of the firm for which she works. She drove to my workplace the next morning (over a 45 minute drive) and returned my retainer in full. She offered no apology or explanation.
