Aside from Mr. Douglas being an expert in the Department of Labors’ Office of a Workers Compensation Program (OWCP) he has been an exceptional person as well. Mr. Douglas has been empathetic and kind during this convoluted, lengthy, and very frustrating time. He has also been a voice of reason an...d a calming force for me during this extremely trying time. Without Mr. Douglas I truly feel the claims examiners at OWCP would still be delaying my compensation. Additionally, OWCP has tried to low ball me (so to speak) by approving my injury only as “temporary” versus “permanent.” Mr. Douglas is an expert at pointing out clear, legal and medical arguments to OWCP to correct their error.
