The majority of Michael Johnston’s cases involve civil commercial matters including representing insurance companies in first-party and third-party disputes and large subrogation cases. Michael has been the first chair attorney in over 75 jury trials and tried numerous non-jury trials, significant cases on appeal and zoning cases.
Michael began practicing law in 1980 as an associate attorney in a well-known Fort Worth law firm where he made partner in less than 3 years. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Michael continued as partner is several major law firms prior to opening Johnston Legal Group in 1997.
