Great Experience

Dwight did an excellent job representing me and my family in an estate matter. He communicates clearly, responds promptly to questions and has broad legal knowledge. I would not hesitate to work with Dwight again.

A Good Choice

We chose Mr. Heard because he works in the area of mergers and acquisitions, and also his office is located in an area close to us. At our first meeting, through discussion of our problem; we felt with his expertise, his experience and his references confirmed Dwight as a good choice to help us. ...Most of our follow up contacts were by phone or email. Dwight would reply quickly, usually the same day. He was always able to explain legal manners in everyday language that we can understand. Having Dwight Heard as our lawyer has been the bright spot in our attempt in the area of mergers and acquisitions.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
