When hiring a criminal lawyer, trial experience is a must. During my tenure at the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office, I had the opportunity to litigate a number of criminal jury trials for cases ranging from driving while intoxicated to murder. In the area of DWI litigation, I have tried cases ranging from breath and blood test refusal cases to test cases and drug DWI cases. I have also presented hundreds of cases to the grand jury and have litigated numerous cases before a judge.

While at the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office, I received extensive training and continuing education in all areas of the criminal law. In the area of DWI alone, I have received specialized training in the investigation and litigation of Intoxication Manslaughter, Intoxication Assault, Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, and both alcohol and drug-related DWI cases.

My number one goal for all of my clients is to get their criminal case dismissed. Although it is not possible to get every case dismissed, my philosophy to providing aggressive and effective criminal defense is to not only limit my client's risk but also provide as many possible options to a dismissal, no-bill by the Tarrant County grand jury or reducing the criminal charges to a lesser charge. When it comes to results for my clients, I have been able to get cases dismissed or reduced for offenses ranging from Shoplifting and other types of theft to Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and more serious cases such as Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, other violent assault and gun-related cases and a variety of drug cases (possession of marijuana, cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine).
