Biography
Dan Barrett has been helping folks navigate the court system in Texas for nearly forty years. He is rated AV - Preeminent from Martindale-Hubbell, is included in The Register of Pre-eminent Attorneys and has been listed as a Texas Monthly Super Lawyer many years.
Dan was also a member of the Texas House of Representatives, having been elected to represent the citizens of District 97 in 2007. While in the legislature, Dan served on the Land & Resource Management and Pensions & Investments Committees.
Dan is well versed in all aspects of complex litigation, having handled multi-million dollar claims from both sides of the docket. His trial practice includes commercial and construction disputes, municipal issues litigation, business torts, professional malpractice and personal injury. Dan is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and is a Past President of the Fort Worth Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a former ABOTA National Director, and a former member of the state boards of both the Texas Association of Defense Counsel and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
