Davis Purcell is a partner at Wells, Purcell & Kraatz and concentrates his practice on personal injury. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1982 and began his legal career as an Assistant DistrictAttorney in Tarrant County. In 1985, he joined the law firm of Wells, Williford and Felber. When Davis Purcell became a partner in 1988, the firm evolved to its present entity.

Davis Purcell is an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Fort Worth. He served as Sunday school teacher for 20 years, Chair of Church Council, Chair of Board of Stewards, Chair of Staff Parish Relations Committee and Chair of the Board for the Methodist Justice Ministry. Davis has also taken part in several mission trips in Texas, Florida, Mexico, and Costa Rica.
Davis is a proud father and grandfather. He loves family adventures and the great outdoors. In the late 1980s, he started riding in a long distance bike ride in his hometown of Wichita Falls, appropriately called the Hotter n Hell Hundred.
