Robert Thomas Stites

Mr. Stites is not an honorable man. Even though he knew my husband and I had NO money to spend on a lengthy divorce he spent $10,000 of my retainer on a sloppy unprofessional binder. I explained I did not want to have a messy divorce, but he did...more $$$$. I finally stopped my divorce proceedi...ng figuring if I had to deal with pompous and incompetent counsel I needed to reevaluate my marriage and if I wanted a divorce and the messy experience. Also alarming was Mr. Stites' inept way of handling documents. He would "walk down" pleadings, or snail mail them when that just ate up more time and more of my money. He is incompetent, incorrigible and inept. RUN!!!!

Robert will make false promises just to get you to put up a hefty retainer and will not deliver. He does not care about the clients best interest. Also, other attorneys and the judges do not seem to like Mr. Stites at all. He slops through his paperwork, makes many errors, and is not prepared when... going to court. If you want good representation and an hones and ethical attorney, stay away from Robert Stites. In my opinion, he will hurt you far more than help you in legal proceedings.
