Worst lawyer in Tarrant County

Terrible lawyer she’s disrespectful and doesn’t care for her clients. She’s not on her clients side and very hateful. Do not hire her!

She’s a pathetic so called Attorney -0 review

Always late never converses about what’s about to happen in the court room . She does not fight for her client rude disrespectful poor excuse for an attorney . As woman it’s natural to want to protect especially if someone is depending on you . She should have been a dog catcher for her career. My s...on’s Freedome is in her hands and it makes me so sad that the state allowed someone like her to represent a human .

Terrible experience.

Lisa Hoobler is condescending and rude. I don’t normally leave reviews, however after my phone call with her, I couldn’t believe she is the person representing my mother. While asking for advice and what is the best way to help her, Lisa thought she had only been in jail for a week and when I correct...ed her and said No a month, according to the jail. She responded “If you say so”. How do you represent someone without even visiting them in jail and knowing their case? Terrible terrible. This woman is condescending and rude and disrespectful. lawyer.

Grateful for legal assistance

Our family appreciates the time and effort she has put forth in helping our son. We are grateful for her assistance during a time that was a stressful for our family.

Unprofessional

My interaction with Ms. Hoobler was unprofessional to say the least. Her demeanor was aggressive, confrontational, and lacking respect. I have interacted with several attorneys in the Tarrant County area to acquire information to assist a dear friend. Each individual I spoke with was well spoken, pol...ite, and helpful. These are traits I would expect to find in a well educated public defender. Ms. Hoobler does not appear to possess any of these. I am not trying to slander Ms. Hoobler. My purpose is to inform potential clients. Legal proceedings are stressful and confusing enough for those of us outside the legal profession. When we hire an attorney, or the court appoints one to us, we are trusting that individual with the present and future course of events in our lives. It is paramount that the individual in question is professional, prepared, and capable. As I stated before, I have spoken with several attorneys in the Tarrant County area. Each of those calls ended respectfully and courteously. My call with Ms. Hoobler ended in mid sentence with a dial tone on my end.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
