My family has proudly practiced law in Texas since 1896. My great-grandfather, James C. Wilson, was a United States District Judge in the Northern District of Texas for 32 years. My grandfather and uncles were also attorneys. My brother practices law in Houston.
With an undergraduate degree in criminal justice, I have a different perspective regarding police investigations and their ability to get the “facts” right. I know where to find faults in their investigations, which ultimately aids me in the representation of my clients.
With over 30+ years of experience in criminal defense, I know how to get the best result for my client.
My practice is limited to criminal defense in both state and federal court. I am committed to zealous representation of my clients in all cases. I have tried many complex cases in both United States District Court and state court. My work ethic for my clients is second to none. As the past president of the Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (TCCDLA), I am deeply involved in bar activities locally and statewide.
My practice is statewide, and I have tried many cases outside of Tarrant County. I have an excellent working relationship with the judiciary across the state. If you need a tough, well-respected attorney who meets personally with each client and works zealously within the bounds of the law to defend each client, call my office for a free initial consultation.

"I had the pleasure of working with Holly Frane, and I can confidently say she is an exceptional attorney. From the moment we started my dad's case, Holly demonstrated deep knowledge and expertise in the field. She took the time to listen, thoroughly understood my concerns, and offered clear, actiona...

He is very well known and respected in the judicial community. Communication wasn't the VERY best but was sufficient. He told me how things would play out. I was very nervous. He was 100% correct. My life has changed and I owe part of it to this man. Thanks
We are thrilled to hear that you had such a positive experience! Thank you for your review!

I hired MR. St. John to help me with my state case that turned federal. I'm not gonna liue, it was scary but Mr. St. John made me feel confident in his ability to help me, and he did just that. He got me probation with some community service. Mr. St. John saved my life, and I am so thankfull for t...

Did some research. Check out the law suit in tarrant county 67th district Court, styled johnathan cooper v james warren st. John. Looks like this lawyer steals clients money. It also shows he has been disciplined by state bar of texasvfor misconduct when reviewing evidence on clerk file.

Scam! Another of legal trickery. Look up how many state bar complaints he has on him. He been disciplined by state bar, and been sued by prior client to get refund.
Mr. St. John has never been disciplined by The State Bar of Texas in 36 years of practice. You are mistaken and have the wrong attorney.
"I endorse this lawyer. We have worked on cases together, and tried many cases together over the years. My friend , Mr. St. John, is always prepared and in command. Your faith in him will be well-placed."
