RUN FROM THIS FIRM AS FAST AS YOU CAN. I hired this law firm during one of the most important situations of my life. My daughter was being wrongfully withheld from me for a year. Instead of getting competent legal help, I got a revolving door of attorneys, ZERO communication, and constant incompet...ence. Over the course of my case, I was assigned FIVE different lawyers because this firm apparently cannot keep employees. I'm not exaggerating. Jasmine, Jesse, Philip, Karin, Bruce, and they tried to give me number 6... Melissa. That's when I called it quits. I have all of the receipts. I retained them for a year so that's basically a new lawyer every 2 months. An ABSOLUTE JOKE. Every time someone new took over, I had to start over and re-explain everything about my case. AND THEY WOULD BILL ME FOR IT. Can you imagine? No continuity. No ownership. No accountability. Pure insanity. When hearings came around, my attorneys regularly showed up unprepared. Files not reviewed. Details not understood. Arguments not ready. Failed Habeas Corpus 2 or 3 times. The only reason anything went my way in court was because the facts were so overwhelmingly in my favor that even unprepared representation couldn’t completely sabotage it. This would be hilarious if it weren't tragic. Communication was a nightmare. I would call, email, and text for WEEKS at a time with no response. WEEKS. While my daughter was being kept from me. While I was paying this firm thousands of dollars. Apparently once they have your money, responding to clients becomes optional. Here's the nail in the coffin, guys. The final insult came after a year and a half of paying them and waiting for them to pursue enforcement on multiple violations. After wasting enormous amounts of time doing nothing, they suddenly told me that I could no longer pursue enforcement because new orders had been entered. In other words, they delayed so long that the opportunity to hold the other party accountable disappeared. THINK ABOUT THIS. REALLY SAVOR IT. My daughter was unlawfully withheld from me for over a year. I continued paying child support. I continued paying this law firm. I stayed patient while they fumbled my case over and over again. I truly wanted to do the right thing and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. And after all of that - nothing. No accountability. No enforcement. No justice. Just a MASSIVE bill and a child who now carries emotional scars from being kept from her father. Honestly, the biggest clown in this entire ordeal is not Themis, not the lawyers, not the staff. IT'S ME. I AM THE BIGGEST CLOWN for paying a TON of money for nothing, for being patient while my daughter was being emotionally tortured. Her father is a clown for waiting for the legal team that I'm retaining to get themselves together and go save my child. I have every unanswered email, every ignored phone call, and every text message documenting exactly how little this firm cared about their client. The only reason I have my daughter right now is because, like I said, the facts of the case are so blatantly in my favor that a judge threatened my ex-wife with jail time if she didn't revert to the original custody agreement. NO THANKS TO THEMIS. I COULD HAVE DONE ALL OF THIS BY MYSELF. I LITERALLY PAID 20-30K OVER A YEAR FOR NOTHING. Do yourself a favor: do not call them, do not email them, do not explore further. SAVE YOURSELF. There are a MILLION better options out there. You would truly be better off representing yourself than trusting this firm with something as important as your family or children.

After retaining their services, I experienced a complete lack of progress on my case for an entire month. Instead of focusing on my legal matter, the firm... pressured me to agree to a continuance that would significantly impact my life and the well-being of my children. It became evident that their primary concern was financial gain rather than client satisfaction. I strongly advise potential clients to exercise caution and consider seeking legal representation from a more reputable firm. They also refuse to return my retainer money that I need to hire another attorney to help my three Baby Girls.
