We recently worked with the Ruelas and Andino Law Firm in Weatherford, TX for estate planning services, and our experience was very disappointing.  While the attorney was knowledgeable in her field, the overall process was marred by poor communication, billing issues, and a lack of accountability. ... First, we encountered several communication failures throughout the process.  Despite assurances that we would receive electronic copies of our documents for a final review in advance of the signing meeting—something we specifically requested multiple times—we did not receive them in time.  This forced us to postpone the signing meeting, leading to additional charges that we feel were unfairly billed to us. The subsequent signing meeting was conducted by a para-legal rather than the attorney because she was on vacation. This para-legal was not allowed to answer any legal questions.  During a follow-up meeting with the attorneys, they admitted to making several communication mistakes but refused to adjust the invoice to reflect these errors. Second, the billing practices were concerning.  We were charged for numerous minor tasks that seemed excessive given their nature and duration (e.g., $23 for a phone call asking for a phone number).  These charges added up quickly and exceeded our initial $5,000 retainer by over $1,200.  When we raised these concerns during a nearly hour-long meeting with the attorneys, they were unwilling to adjust the bill despite acknowledging their mistakes. Finally, when we attempted to address these issues with their billing manager, we were met with rudeness and dismissiveness.  The manager interrupted us repeatedly and made it clear that no adjustments would be made under any circumstances.  This unprofessional behavior only added to our frustration. While we ultimately paid the additional charges to obtain our documents and move forward, we cannot recommend this firm based on our experience.  Transparency, professionalism, and fair billing practices are critical in legal services, and unfortunately, this firm fell short in these areas.

Decided I needed to hire an attorney, after a local healthcare provider served me with A lawsuit after non-payment for services. Having health care insurance and never going without lapse in coverage was a little blindsided by this. Wendi Andino was a great advocate in my case, she was able to p...roof negligence on the behalf of the healthcare provider and not billing my insurance in the required time therefore causing The claim to be rejected. I will recommend Wendi Andino in the future.
