Biography
Mac Smith was born and raised in Parker County, Texas. He and his wife Janice Smith, a retired high school teacher for Weatherford ISD, have two daughters, two grandsons and two granddaughters.
After being elected and serving three terms as the Parker County District Attorney, Mac Smith returned to private practice in 1986 and became a trial lawyer/litigator because the work is challenging, unpredictable, but very enjoyable. In his 40 plus years of practice, he has handled many complicated, high-profile criminal and civil cases. He has worked with and against many excellent lawyers.
Mac Smith brings knowledge of the law, the civil and criminal courts, and the North Central Texas communities he serves to every client and every case. He has gained a statewide reputation as a strong advocate of his clients' rights and as a leader in his chosen practice areas.
