Had her for 3+ years on an estate case and it was not a good experience. She will bill you for every cent she can. I dropped off a check to her office and was billed $68 for "stopping by" I was there for 2-3min. Charges 15 min. For a 3 min. Phone call. I fired her after 4 months of stagnation, ...and after hiring a new attorney I can say that her communication is near non existent. I've had more 1 on 1 in two weeks with my new attorney than almost 4 years of dealing with her. After her termination she refused to release documents and funds to me because she made an agreement with the opposition. I had to get my new attorney to obtain my files. I spoke with 5 attorneys for council before firing her and everyone of them said she is bordering on malpractice if not across the line. Learn from my mistake. Save yourself a lot of money and headache and find a different attorney.

Adoption is suppose to be a fun exciting time for a family, she has made it everything but, its all about money and how much she can bill you for. Save your self the heart ach. I am 9 months since court and have yet gotten any documentation of me adopting my son, thankful the Judge was kind enough to... get me documentation to get his last name changed. She will one answer your questions when she is hunting for money.

I have hired Lacey two different times on cases that were completely different from each other both cases she successfully one for me and they were not easy cases I am forever grateful for her experience and help with my issues and she is by far the best attorney I have ever had. if I need an attorne...y again I'm definitely going to hire her .
