The worst case ever! Could have had my case dismissed under the constitutional right of the sixth amendment (speedy trial) but this counsel failed to do his job after being paid on January 2025 until March 2025, thus violating, denying and not protecting my sixth amendment right. The ineffectiveness ...of his assistance as a lawyer forced me to go to the State Bar of Texas and file a complaint, which caused him to reimburse me, if my case is not dismissed he can be sued.

Mr. Dunnavent used to be a public defender and quite frankly he still acts, works and maneuvers like one. He doesn’t put very much effort into the cases he takes. I think he has too many on his caseload at his affordable pricing. If you hire him you better hope your plaintiffs or the State show you m...ercy because he won’t put any effort into working for you. You get what you pay for I guess. Won’t hire again.

I paid 300 6 years ago. Called last week and paid the other 300. He showed up and and showed out! I plead to a lesser charge and avoided probation, jail time for the warrant and court costs! He was very good and didn't stop until it was done! I would spend my money with him anytime. And recommend him... to someone else
