Do Your Research On His Poor Reviews
Do Your Research On This Attorney. A Google search will tell you how poorly they are reviewed. Do not use this attorney. They sent me the wrong "template" and when I found out what happened I was in an even bigger problem then the ticket. They then act like it was explained when it wasn't. When I ...

Do not hire! I could have done a better job myself much cheaper
Do not hire Jack Byno! I got a speeding ticket in Joshua; for the first time ever I hired an attorney (Jack Byno) to help me with a speeding ticket. Big mistake. For comparison, when I got the ticket I called Joshua City Hall and I would have needed to pay $150 for deferred adjudication. SInce the go...
I am sorry you were not satisfied. We inform our clients of the following when we are retained: If retained, I will contact the court and notify them that I am your attorney. The court will respond back to me with a court date. Unless otherwise notified, defendants that retain an attorney normally do not need to appear in court. Your lawyer can do that for you. Our attorneys always look for a legal grounds for a dismissal, but if it is not present we will then seek to plea your case to the best deal available. If your case is not dismissed, I will then try and work out a deal to get you deferred adjudication (probation). The court can deny any request or add conditions to a probation. For example, if you are under 25 years old the State of Texas requires that you take a defensive driving class as a condition of probation. It does not matter if you have done the class in the last year. You can take it multiple times, as a condition of probation. Unless you retain us for a trial, there is no court date that the police officer that wrote the ticket must appear. Please keep in mind the following: just because you may not agree with the ticket, you think the ticket was written incorrectly, or the officer made some mistake, these are not legal grounds for a dismissal. These are trial issues. If you would like a trial we normally charge $500 for a bench trial in the DFW area traffic ticket courts. If your citation was in warrant, you would like a jury trial, or the ticket is in a court outside of our normal coverage area our fees may be more expensive. Obviously, there are never any guarantees to the outcome of a case, but most cases go through the courts without any problems. After, I have worked out the best deal I can for you, I will then send you a letter stating the outcome, how much your court fees are and when to pay them by. My attorney fees are not the court costs. By retaining me you are authorizing me to contact the court and prosecutor on your behalf, negotiate with the State, and sign any documents necessary in relation to the ticket. If you fail to follow my instructions on time then a warrant may issue for your arrest. If you move or change your contact information you must notify me in writing of the changes. If your follow these instructions, then there should not be a problem. You should plan from the moment you retain us for the worst case scenario: you may have to pay your full traffic ticket fine. If you plan for this in advance then you will not have a problem coming up with the money to pay the court. The most common reasons drivers are convicted include, but are not limited to: you are a CDL holder, your violations are deemed excessive by the court, your ticket has gone to warrant, you have multiple violations, you have a bad driving record, etc. We will do our best to negotiate on your behalf. However, there are no promises or guarantees to the outcome of your case.

Fire Jack immediately if you hired him
Hired Jack for three tickets in Denton county. Letters come back to me from Jack stating that I needed to pay double what all three tickets would have cost me if I just paid Denton. Next day I fired Jack and told his staff in their office that they were incompetent. 3 weeks later I have court in Dent...
I am sorry you were not satisfied, but you are not stating the facts correctly. First you were not told to pay double. The double amount you are staying were the appeal bond amount. Appeal bonds are what are you used to move a ticket from the lower court to the higher court. Second, you did not speak to a court appointed attorney.. You spoke to my associate attorney, who worked out a deal with the state prosecutor to get the citations dismissed. Again, I am sorry you were not satisfied, but my office got your tickets dismissed.

Joke of a "Lawyer"
DO NOT HIRE this law firm. They do NOTHING but take your money. I hired these people for a couple of traffic tickets. I get a letter in the mail a few weeks later with nothing done other then "pay these fees" and you'll be on probation. I didn't hire you to do exactly what I could have done myse...
I am sorry you were not satisfied. we tell our clients up front: I normally, charge $75 per offense if a case is not past due or in in warrant to negotiate with the prosecutor and/or court on your behalf to work out the best deal I can in a plea bargain. This may mean paying a fee to the court and it may or may not include a deferred adjudication (probation). If however, you would like a trial then I charge $500 as a trial fee. Further, If retained for a plea bargain, I will contact the court and notify them that I am your attorney. If you fail to follow my instructions on time then a warrant may issue for your arrest. If you move or change your contact information you must notify me in writing of the changes. If your follow these instructions, then there should not be a problem. Last, I am out of the office because I am in court, If you have questions for me, I ask all clients to follow the following: If you have any questions about the status of your case please contact my office at [email protected]. In the message bar please write, “STATUS UPDATE REQUEST.” Please leave your message in the following order: 1. Your name; 2. Your phone number; 3. The court in which your ticket is filed, and then 4. Your question. We return emails to those people who follow this request before those that do not because their files are easier to locate and exam. While my website is open 24/7, my office is open Monday - Friday between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, excluding holidays. The best time to call is between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm because in the afternoon we have many deadlines to make. In my business it seems most people wait until the last minute to give me their tickets. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

Waste of Time and Money
I tried to pay my ticket with the City of FTW at one of the approved payment windows at a Carnival grocery store. Because my payment was late, they could not accept it. So, I called Jack Byno's office to see if they could help me as I was worried about having a possible warrant and needed someone who...
